Note: This policy applies to my current offerings of virtual consulting services and also outlines refund and return terms for future products, including digital downloads and physical items (such as old newspapers), that I plan to introduce soon. Refund and return conditions are specific to each product type.
As an Australian-based sole trader, I am committed to delivering high-quality services and products with transparency and professionalism. This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and applies to both Australian and international clients.
I am committed to providing clear, fair refund and cancellation options for my customers.
Virtual Services (e.g., Zoom consulting), Consulting, Tutoring & Writing
- No exchanges are offered for virtual services.
Cancellations:
- Clients may reschedule or request a full refund if cancellation is made with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled session.
Late Cancellations (Less than 24 hours):
- These are non-refundable, except in the case of a genuine emergency (assessed at my discretion). A one-time reschedule may be offered.
Missed sessions (No-Shows):
- Missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable and considered forfeited. Emergency cases will be reviewed at my discretion.
Late Arrivals:
- Sessions will end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may count as a no-show.
If I Cancel or Miss a Session:
- If I fail to deliver a service due to internal error or technical issue, you are entitled to a reschedule or full refund.
- As this is a virtual service, returns and shipping do not apply.
Digital Products (e.g., eBooks, Templates, Downloadable Files) (Coming Soon)
No Change of Mind Refunds:
- Returns or refunds are not offered for change of mind on digital downloads.
Faulty Files:
- If a digital product is faulty, corrupted, inaccessible, or does not match its description, please notify me within 7 days of receiving the digital product. If the issue is confirmed, a replacement or refund will be offered.
Usage Rights (License):
- All digital products are sold for individual use only. Redistribution, resale, or reproduction without written permission is strictly prohibited.
Physical Products (e.g. Books, Magazines, Old Newspapers, Clippings) (Coming Soon)
Change of Mind:
- I do not accept returns for change of mind on rare, or vintage, or second-hand items.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders:
- Returns are accepted only if the item is damaged or incorrect within 7 days of delivery (with photo evidence, if applicable), and I will arrange a replacement, refund, or store credit.
- In some cases, I may request the product to be returned. If so, I will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to the customer.
- All physical products must be returned in original condition.
- No restocking fees apply.
- Exchanges are not offered.
Refund Processing Time
All eligible refunds are processed within 5 business days of cancellation confirmation or verification of fault or returned item.
Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
I comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides the following consumer guarantees:
- You are entitled to a remedy if a product or service fails to meet acceptable quality, fit for purpose, or match its description.
- If the problem is major, you may choose a refund, replacement, or compensation.
- If the issue is minor, I will decide whether to repair, replace, or re-perform the service.
International Clients
I welcome clients from around the world. While this policy is governed by Australian Consumer Law, I aim to provide the same level of fairness globally.
If your local consumer laws offer additional protections, I will consider them on a case-by-case basis, provided they don’t conflict with my own policies or legal obligations.
Jurisdiction:
This policy and any disputes are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. By purchasing or booking with me, you agree to submit to this jurisdiction.
